Duo Mates of State will be releasing their latest offering and fifth full length studio release Re-Arrange Us next week on Barsuk Records. The pair will mark the occasion by appearing on “Late Night with Conan O’Brien” that night.
Kori Gardner and Jason Hammel, aka Mates of State, have just launched the “Most Mates” online game on their official website and the new album’s official website. The rules are fairly self-explanatory: Create your own version of the already customizable Re-Arrange Us artwork with as many “Mates” as possible. The winning entry with the “Most Mates” will have his or her version featured on MatesofState.com, Mates of State’s myspace page and Barsuk Records’ homepage.
You can catch Mates of State on tour starting tonight through next month (dates below & tickets available now!) with Headlights opening. Black Joe Lewis and the Honey Bears will also be on the bill for the Texas dates.
