Friendly Fires – Friendly Fires

The British dance-disco uproar shall be releasing their self-titled, debut album Friendly Fires on September 23rd through . This modern disco-funk sound is created by just three hip musicians: ; ; and . With such outrageous melodies and extravagant beats in their songs, the music seems to force the body into a dancing frenzy.

Throughout the record, Friendly Fires orchestrates a mass of different interments to complete the sound that they have found. Surprisingly, it would seem that it was already on the dance floor, waiting to be discovered. Once you have listened to any of the ten tracks off this album, you can instantly deduct exactly what they where inspired by, and that is a mixture of the 70s disco, and the fast paced beat that of the 90s. Their single “Jump in the Pool” (download), which just so happens to be their first song on their record, is but just a taste of what is to come this September in Friendly Fires.

When you are out on the town and you feel like dancing, pop in this record, and dance the night away. Look for Friendly Fires to drop in the US on September 23rd. You can catch the guys on tour (dates below) in the States with at the end of October.
