California duo Honeyhoney, who will release their debut album First Rodeo next week on Ironworks Music/Universal Republic has created a fun video involving the band as the musical act for a silent black and white cowboy film. In the movie, singer/fiddler/banjoist Suzanne Santo is an outlaw that ends up shooting guest star Kiefer Sutherland after a heated poker game and books it out of town.
Santo hops a train and takes guitarist Ben Jaffe as a hostage to collect money from the other passengers and ends up tying him to some train tracks. The entertaining video is enough reason to watch, but Santo’s soulful voice and the band’s tight and catchy riffs are definitely worth your while.
