Andrew Bird US Tour

Andrew Bird has confirmed dates for the first leg of a North American tour in support of his forthcoming new album Noble Beast. The tour will begin just after Noble Beast’s release with Bird’s first ever headline engagement at Carnegie Hall on January 28, 2009.

This run of theater headlines will be opened by Loney Dear with the exception of Carnegie Hall, which will feature DOSH as support.

Presales with low-fee surcharges for most shows are already underway at http://www.andrewbird.net/. General on sales will be this weekend.

Feb 12 – The Paramount Theater / Austin
Feb 13 – The El Rey Theatre / Albuquerque
Feb 14 – The Rialto Theater / Tucson

Feb 19 – The Fillmore / San Francisco
Feb 20 – The Fillmore / San Francisco
Feb 21 – The Roseland Theater / Portland

    I’m pretty sure he sold out the Granada last tour. Why not Lawrence again?

  2. I’m also bummed he’s not hitting Philadelphia. It bugs me when great people go straight from NY to DC.
