Ottawa’s The Acorn recently released a video for their song “Crooked Legs”, a follow up to the video for “The Flood Pt. 1″, both off the band’s debut album Glory Hope Mountain. This video marks the return of director Christopher Mills (Broken Social Scene, Interpol, Modest Mouse) who begins the video in outer space and pulls in, tightening the frame of reference to following the path of a firefly.
The Acorn just finished a cross-country tour of the US with Calexico, Ohbihjou and The Shaky Hands and will be releasing Heron Act, a collection of hard-to-find live recordings, blog/radio session recordings and demos, in February 2009.
