If you live in/around Philadelphia and have at least a semi-decent taste in music, chances are you know of, and maybe even praise on occasion, the guys of R5 Productions. If you’ve ever been to the First Unitarian Church or Starlight Ballroom for a concert, you’ve seen them sitting around bullshitting, stamping your hand and just being all around cool dudes.
This Saturday marks the Holiday Edition of R5′s bi-annual Punk Rock Flea Market (the regular one occurs during the summer-ish months). Starting at 10AM and lasting until 5PM this Saturday, December 20th, the Starlight Ballroom will be decked out with over 100 vendors selling everything from old records, clothing, and art to food, tools, and automobiles. 21+ers are the market can drink in the alcohol corral (as dubbed by Starlight Ballroom frequenter EIC Jessica), and all proceeds from the day go to ensure that the First Unitarian Church can keep providing amazing all-ages shows on an almost nightly basis.
In addition to the normal flea market stuff, there will also be a full bar and food service kitchen to make the day go by a little faster.
The guys of R5 will have their own table of ish for sale along with other notables such as: Philly Roller Girls, Yelp, the Gervasi Brothers, Pinupsquirrel, Beautiful World Syndicate, Market East, Wonkavision, and more!
