All on their own merit, Florida band Kingsbury has shared the stage with names like Stellastar*, The Honorary Title, Matt Pond PA, and French Kicks, and self-released two highly praised EP’s, released their full-length debut on Post Records in 2007 and followed up with another EP, Lie To Me, late last year. Their music draws influence from Calla, Low, Sigur Ros, and Mogwai. In an effort to “completely embracing digital culture,” the fellas have everything they’ve ever recorded available for free download on their website.

Hunter’s, Run!
Following 2 full-length releases in 3 years, New York City post-pop outfit Hunters, Run! are thinking bigger for 2009 and will release a series of four 7-inchs over the course of the year. Titled To Be Still, which lands February 17th on Rough Trade, Diane has already premiered a music video for single “White As Diamonds” and will be hitting the road with Blitzen Trapper as well as making an appearance at this year’s South By Southwest conference in Austin, Texas then heading overseas. This young beauty hails from the same California town as Joanna Newsom, but unlike her dissonant peer, Diane won’t make you want to cover your ears and leave the room.
