Britpop heavyweights Blur have gotten their original lineup back together and are set to release a new collection of their songs on June 15 in Great Britain. Throughout June, they will be playing their first gigs together in 6 years, leading up to headlining several European music festivals and a pair of gigs at London’s Hyde Park on July 2nd and 3rd.
The new collection will be called Midlife: a Beginner’s Guide to Blur and will include 25 tracks from Blur’s seven albums. A special addition to the collection is the British top 40 track “Popscene” that was released originally in March 1992 but was unavailable otherwise since. The band hopes the collection will serve as an introduction to the band’s extensive back catalog to those not familiar with their work.
