The multi-talented Jason Schwartzman is hitting fans with a double whammy.
Today, Sept. 20, his new series created by Jonathan Ames debuts on HBO at 9:30 p.m. EST. The series “Bored to Death” the show follows the misadventures of a fictional Jonathan Ames as he pursues his quixotic dream of emulating his heroes from classic private detective novels. Schwartzman plays aims in the series.
It also stars Ted Danson and Zach Galifianakis.
In addition to starring the series, Schwartzman’s Coconut Records released a new song for the show for use as the theme.
