Kansas indie rock act The Noise FM has announced a string of summer tour dates.
The trio, formed around the Ward brothers, writes catchy rock hooks to which you can still dance. You can find songs in this style on their May 2010 release, Enclave.
They’ve been a Kansas staple for the past few years, so it is bittersweet to note that at the end of this tour is a “Farewell Lawrence Show.” Bad news: the band is leaving Kansas. Good news: the guys assure us that they’ll continue making great tunes under the moniker the Noise FM in their new city of Chicago. They’re moving on up! But Kansas will miss them.
The tour dates are with another great Midwest act: Abandon Kansas. Be sure to check out both bands and stay tuned to myspace and twitter for further updates and additional dates.
