It seemed like just yesterday you couldn’t turn on the radio without catching the Black Kids upbeat debut single, “I’m Not Gonna Teach Your Boyfriend How to Dance.” Yet, after that big buzz debut, the group kind of quieted down.
Well, they haven’t been sitting idle. And Tuesday, November 30, the group’s bassist, Owen Holmes, is debuting a five-track EP on Rough Trade.
Holmes is peforming under the alias Gospel Music and his debut EP is called Duettes. True to its name, it features Holmes on some pretty awesome duets that will have hipsters everywhere in a tizzy.
