It is no secret that I am a big fan of both Tolkien and Peter Jackson’s The Lord of the Rings. So it should be no surprise to anyone that I am excited about these productions top fantasy film videos that Jackson is doing while he is working on his latest project, The Hobbit.
As I said earlier, I discovered recently that he is posting a series of production video blogs as they work on the film. They are cool, with interviews with the principle actors and best of all, the man himself, Peter Jackson (looking fit and trim for work, I might add!) talking to us his fans about the work as it progresses. This is one of those times when I am just in love with technology because it gives us all a chance to be a fly on the wall at a Jackson shoot!
Last time I brought you the first two videos, which were awesome. We got to see Golum! (Andy) and that is cool, along with so many others from the cast and crew. There is more with Andy on this next video, and a bit of fun from Jackson as well. And Ian is just wonderful! And dwarves- we get to meet dwarves! Well, the elves look cool, but the dwarves are fun. Enjoy!
And if you had fun with that one, here is the fourth installment from Mr. Jackson. Here is some sneaky behind the scene stuff to see what they are doing for the 3D aspect of the film. It is kinda technical, but also fun to see what they are doing.
So what is your thought about 3D and the fact that Jackson is going to be doing The Hobbit in 3D? Do you think he can pull this off? Will it be the top fantasy film of all time or a crashing bore because of the 3D? Or neither?
