The boys of MGMT couldn’t make it back to the states for Thanksgiving since they’re currently touring abroad. Instead, while performing on Le Grand Jounral in Paris, the band decided to celebrate in their own way. Roni Brunn of The Band From and Brand Records in L.A. has recently released a new and very creative music video for her song “One Spring Away”. Brunn has taken clips from 41 television commercials and mashed them into a music video. Think of it like a Girl Talk for the eyes.

Last week, New York indie rockers The Bad Eliots launched their first music video, “Cat’s Meow”. The song was originally recorded for Snapple Antioxidant Water’s popular “Bubble Wrap” commercial that aired early this year. Since the commercial began airing, fans everywhere have been actively searching for more information about The Bad Eliots, and the song “Cat’s Meow” has been downloaded thousands of times.

Chicago shoegaze five piece Mittens on Strings recently finished their new album, Let’s Go To Baba’s. The band is currently talking to several labels about releasing it come February or March. For the occasion, we have spent some considerable time working on an original stop-motion animation video for their song “The Flaming Pig”. Check it out:
