Modern punk rock icons The Bouncing Souls will celebrate 20 years together in 2009. It was almost 16 years ago that The Bouncing Souls put out their first album on their very own Chunksaah Records, and in a true return to the DIY spirit in which they began, The Bouncing Souls are self-releasing a new song every month of 2009 on Chunksaah to celebrate their milestone anniversary. Songs will be released as digital downloads first, and for the all the folks who like to collect stuff, every 3 months a 7″ will be released compiling 4 new tracks each onto vinyl. The first song, “Gasoline”, will be released January 1st.
In addition to new music, keep your eyes peeled for limited edition merchandise for sale each month through the Chunksaah webstore and for brand new show dates. The Bouncing Souls have an international tour schedule planned for the year ahead, so fans around the world can look forward to experiencing their famously energetic live performance!
